Dear Pastor, Church Planter and Family,

We appreciate you! We recognize that you are attending to some of the most difficult work that God could entrust to someone (church pioneering) and we want you to know that your work isn’t in vein. We’re so glad you’ve stopped by our blog and we sincerely hope to be an encouragement to you in your church planting journey.

About the Authors
Josh and Marleen Carroll are in the throws of pioneering a church in Aurora, Colorado.  Having left our large New York City-based church (The Brooklyn Tabernacle) 4 years ago, we’ve been through the ups and downs of starting a work for our Lord and have seen many victories as well as sorrows and struggles.  During our times of doubt, confusion and grief we searched and searched for an online resource that would give us a word of encouragement that would inspire us to keep on going. Having found no Interdenominational online asset, we saw an opportunity to to serve our co-laborers and be that word of encouragement in hopes that you would find something to inspire your heart and help you to keep pressing on in your work.

The name Never Quit on Monday comes from a sage piece of advice that we acquired a couple years back. My wife and I were plagued with a severe case of the Monday morning blues (after a rough Sunday with low attendance). A friend of ours (the daughter of a church planter) told us that her parents made up a rule to make no critical life decisions on Mondays, nor would they ever consider abandoning their small, struggling church on Mondays. They learned that their emotions would stabilize by Tuesday giving them the hope they needed to keep on going with their holy assignment.

We pray that we can be your inspiration during your Monday morning blues and that you too will determine to Never Quit on Monday.  Let us know how we can best serve you.
